General Meetings (open to all members):


Third Wednesday in the month except August and  second Wednesday in the month of December. these meetings are usually held at the Penryn Town Hall Council Chambers commencing at 7.30 pm.

Chamber wins annual Neville Radcliffe challenge!

For the second year running the Chamber stormed home against a strong team from the Penryn Town Council, to win the quiz by an impressive two points!

Held on September 28th with questions by Peter Lemon at the Kings Arms in Penryn.  It was a great evening full of good natured banter and intense competition.


2009 Christmas Window Competition and Chrismas Lights


Themed Christmas Window Competition and Christmas Fair in conjunction with the Christmas Lighting Committee. Switch on and judging is on the 28th of November. Judged by the person switching on the lights. Penryn will, once again, light up in festive mood this coming Christmas.

New Cafe opens in Penryn

The Hideaway cafe is opening on higher market street in Penryn,  with the first night schdeuled to be Monday 16th of November.  To celebrate the opening of the cafe there will be acoustic music, wine, and samplers of the food, produced by new owners Jace and Doll.

Everyone is welcome to come along, starting at around lunch time on the 16th.

The cafe is an arts cafe, and will feature funky art by local artists, and ceramic and jewellery.   The food will focus on fresh local produce, and the inital menu includes Pan fried fish on a bed of salad, paninis, fresh salads, and toasted pittas and full breakfasts in the morning.

At the Christmas Fair the Hideaway will be serving 100% Pork local sausages, and free mulled wine with every purchase!
